the environment today, and there is a lot of talk about 'carbon footprints’. The amount of CO2 we make through whatever our lifestyle is. Make clay bricks in India consumes a lot of good trees. The amount of cement used in ‘cement block’ bricks is also a CO2 emitter.
The brick technology now being developed at New Hope is local clay, 2% cement, non fired compressed brick block. They will be used to help start the Aged Care Unit planned in 2009
