We all felt that yesterday was very hot! – Even the afternoon breeze was too hot. Then in the evening we were told it was the hottest day for 20 years here in Visakhapatnam – 47 Celsius.

City turns into FurnaceMany of the children slept under the mango tree on straw mats. We had a vendor go buy and all took Water melon from him. As they woke up from their afternoon sleep – summer school holidays end 1st June – each had a slice and a glass of water melon sherbet made by hand on the veranda of the kitchen. City turns into Furnace
